(lilac silver carrying sorrel)
This boy joined us from Holland and is available for outside matings now
that our girls have proven what he can do! He
represents the major part of our investment in a chocolate/lilac breeding
program being the long-term result of our own breeding a generation back (van
Gelre's Lerato Adimu) and is studying to replace Loetje in time as our main boy.
We have the following breeding queens:
(Lilac silver carrying sorrel)
Jazz has proven herself a couple of times now, her greatest success so far being
Phoenix. A repeat of the
mating to Loetje to see if she continues to produce
kittens of excellent type and temperament has resulted in another superb blue
silver girl. However, as she is now getting a bit 'long in the tooth' I
fear her breeding days are over and her main role on life is as a companion to
her father. Her breeding role will be taken over by
Corrie in due course.
(Sorrel)
Rani was brought in to retain my old lines, being a descendant from
Lotti. Her first planned mating was with
Loetje, to see if she can repeat the successes of that
mating to her Great-aunt Aliantha to whom she has a great
resemblance in style. The resulting two kittens (a sorrel boy and a blue
boy) demonstrated she has the same potential. The plan for 2011 to see
what she can do with NotHim produced four more
excellent kittens, one of which is now in France. That mating will be
repeated eventually, although a recent repeat of her first mating to Loetje has
so far failed to produce anything as yet.
(Blue silver carrying sorrel)
Phoenix is the latest girl in our cattery and is from our own lines. Plans for an outside
mating with a visit to Dom Perignon resulted in four kittens born 26th
February 2011. Further decisions on kittens have yet to be made.

Corrie is as yet a baby so until she has developed a bit we are not yet certain
who she will visit for her first litter. Ultimately we would like to see her
producing some fine chocolate silver babies but that is far in the future.
